DUSHANBE, July 4, Asia-Plus - A presentation of two books by deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of Parliament) also first deputy head of the Islamic Revival Party of Tajikistan (IRPT), Muhammadsharif Himmatzoda, was held in Dushanbe yesterday on occasion of the 55 th birthday of the author.
One of these books entitled “Life and Works of Imam Abu Hanifa” is dedicated to various aspects of life, scientific, political and religious activities of Abu Hanifa also known as Imam Azam, founder of one of schools of Islamic law (fiqh) and “Hanafiya” course in Islam.
The second one entitled “Positions and Problems” is a collection of articles written by Mr. Himmatzoda in various years and published in media.
The IRPT leader Said Abdullo Nuri, first deputy head of the IRPT Muhiddin Kabiri, and Professor Mahmad Rahimov telling the presentation ceremony highly appraised political and scientific activity of Muhammadsharif Himmatzoda. Deputy Culture Minister Ibrohim Usmonov and Professor Abdunabi Sattorzoda telling the meeting dwelled on joint work with Himmatzoda in the National Commission for Reconciliation (NCR), his self-possession and adherence to principles in the process of re-establishment of peace in the country.
The meeting participants included activists from the IRPT, scientists, literary men and journalists.
