DUSHANBE, July 6, Asia-Plus -- Representatives from Tajikistan’s intelligentsia have expressed gratitude to President Emomali Rahmonov for perpetuating names of known Tajik statesmen Nusratullo Makhsum and Shirinsho Shotemour and giving them titled of “Hero of Tajikistan”.
According to information from presidential press service, in their letter to Rahmonov, the National Academy of Sciences, Unions of Writers, Composers, Painters and others note that adoption of this decree on the Day of National Unity is “important step towards further development of Tajik statehood.”
