DUSHANBE, January 21, Asia-Plus -- A document on training of personnel to deal with migration issues and a draft statement of the CIS heads of state on expansion of cooperation in combating trafficking in persons will be focus of a meeting of the CIS expert that will be held the Belarus capital of Minsk on January 22-24.
Press release issued by the CIS Executive Committee says the meeting is aiming to consider and endorse a draft resolution on granting a status of basis institution for training of personnel dealing with migration for the CIS states to the Academy of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) of Belarus.
The basis institution is set up to work out a common approach to provide training for the specialists in countering illegal migration and human trafficking.
The meeting is also expected to consider a draft statement of the CIS heads of state on fighting drug trafficking. The document has been worked out by Tajikistan.
