KULOB, April 7, Asia-Plus -- On Friday April 4, the Kulob-based public association Zarshedabonou started distributing humanitarian aid to personnel of the enterprise at the Kulob society of blind and partially sighted people.
The Zarshedabonou chairperson Qalamnisso Abduqayumova told Asia-Plus that humanitarian aid will be provided to totaling 60 persons. According to her, they will receive 20 kilograms of wheat flour, 20 kilograms of rice, 3 liter of vegetable oil, 2 kilograms of sugar as well as hygienic and washing materials each.
“Because of severe electricity and gas shortages the enterprise was not in operation last winter and blind and partially sighted persons working with it have not been paid wages,” Abduqayumova said.
