DUSHANBE, May 30, Asia-Plus  -- The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Finnish Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb will arrive in Tajikistan on June 2 for a working visit.  Visit to Tajikistan will be the first leg of his tour of three Central Asian countries.  After Tajikistan, the OSCE Chairman-in-Office will visit Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.   

According to the OSCE Center in Dushanbe, during his stay in Tajikistan, on June 3, Alexander Stubb is scheduled to hold talks with President Emomali Rahmon, Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi and speakers of both chambers of parliament Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev and Saydullo Khairulloyev to discuss bilateral and other intentional priority areas.  He will also meet with representatives of civil society and the international community.  

Topics on the agenda include support in fulfilling OSCE commitments, border security and management, OSCE engagement with Afghanistan, environmental security, human rights, working with civil society, and strengthening co-operation and regional stability.

The Chairman-in-Office will give a news conference in Dushanbe.  Mr. Stubb will leave Dushanbe Tuesday evening.
