DUSHANBE, June 3, Asia-Plus -- 7,100 school students are expected to have the rest in 23 out-of-town camps in northern Tajikistan this summer, Asia-Plus has learned from Emin Ahmadov, the head of the health care department within the Sughd Trade Unions’ Federation.
According to him, the summer holidays season will start on June 9 and the camps Parastou in Konibodom will be the first to open its doors for the first group of holidaymakers. In some other camps, the first shift will start on June 10.
“During the frit shift, more than 2,500 school stunts will have the rest in the summer camps in the province,” Ahmadov said.
The most expensive camp will be Zuhal on the bank of the Qairoqqum reservoir. A 15-day voucher for this camp will come to 325 somonis.
He further added that 7,090 school students were supposed to have the rest in the Sughd summer camps last year, while actually only 6,364 young holidaymakers had the rest in the Sughd camps in 2007.
