DUSHANBE, August 28, 2013, Asia-Plus – Innovative automated racetrack has been opened in Dushanbe yesterday, 27 August, in Dushanbe Ferdowsi District with the participation of President Emamali Rahman.

According to the President''s press office, it is the second such facility in the country. The first automated racetrack was opened in the beginning of August in Qoghan-Teppa.

Total cost of the new Dushanbe racetrack is 12 million Samani. The facility is built on private entrepreneurs'' funds.

The racetrack fleet currently consists of 30 units of various types of transportation means, acquired for the total sum of 1.9 million Samani. The amount of equipment will be increased by 300 units in the future.

It is noted that opening of an automated racetrack is not only first in the country, but throughout Central Asia. In the former Soviet Union such facilities exist only Moscow and Saint-Petersburg.

Automated racetrack - a complex of special technical means and structures are meant for driving lessons and taking the first level of practical test for the right to drive.
