A passenger jet, Boeing 737, with 90 people on board crashed near the Manas airport in Kyrgyzstan, killing 68. The catastrophe occurred at about 8:40p.m. Sunday night near the Jany-Jer village in Sokuluk district of the Chui oblast.

The crash occurred after the crew reported a technical problem on board about 10 minutes into the flight to Teheran, and that the plane was returning to the airport when it crashed.

The plane reportedly belonged to Itek Air a Kyrgyz company, banned from operating in the airspace of the European Union, according to a list published by the EU.

22 out of 83 passangers and 7 crew members on board, survived. 17 victims of the crash were delivered to the Bishkek Trauma Hospital №4 right after, one was taken t the National Hospital in Bishkek. 9 patents were diagnosed carbon monoxide poisoning, 4-various burns, 3-spinal trauma, 1–concussion, and 1-complex trauma.

The news agency “24. kg” expresses deepest condolences to families, relatives, friends and co-workers of the those involved in this incident.
