Minister of Healthcare of Uzbekistan Adham Ikromov met his Turkish counterpart Recep Akdag on Thursday, 3 December 2009, UzDaily.com reported.
Turkish Healthcare Minister Recep Akdag started four-day visit to Uzbekistan on 3 December 2009.
Adham Ikromov said Turkey made great contributions to Uzbekistan''s health sector and over 30 Uzbek physicians underwent internship in Turkey in past 10 years.
Akdag said, in his turn, they were eager to boost relations with Uzbekistan in health sector and other areas.
Uzbekistan and Turkey should exchange their experiences in the health sector, Turkish minister said.
