DUSHANBE, October 20, 2014, Asia-Plus -- The United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) reportedly intends to purchase some goods for Afghanistan from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
According to Afghanistan.ru, USCENTCOM plans to purchase building materials, furniture, home appliances and office equipment from Central Asia’s nations.
The purchases are expected to be made within the framework of the Portal to Central Asian States Business Project, which is implemented by the American Chamber of Commerce in Kyrgyzstan, under support of the CENTCOM Joint Theater Support Contracting Command (C-JTSCC).
