Media reports say Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, is currently on a tour of a number of countries Central Asia at the invitation of their leaders.
ZAWIYA reported that Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani began the tour on June 5 with a visit to Uzbekistan, followed Kyrgyzstan, then a visit to Kazakhstan. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will conclude the tour today with visit to Tajikistan
The Emir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will begin, on Monday, a tour of a number of Central Asian countries, at the invitation of their leaders.
Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is reportedly accompanied by an official delegation, as well as a number of businessmen and senior officials.

During the visits to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, HH the Amir reportedly held talks with the leaders and senior officials, dealing with ways to strengthen cooperation relations, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common concern and signing agreements and memorandums of understanding in a number of fields.
