DUSHANBE, February 23, Asia-Plus - Tajikistan’s ArmSports Association is holding armwrestling tournmaent in Dushanbe on February 24-25 to mark the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the ArmSports Association in Tajikistan.
The association president Nadirkhan Darigi said in an interview with Asia-Plus that competitions will be held nine men’s weight categories and seven women’s weight categories. According to him, sportsmen from the country’s power-wielding structures, Dushanbe higher educational institutions, sports cubs and federation will participate in the competitions.
“Sportsmen from Khujand are also expected to participate in these competitions.
Sponsors of the tournament are Babilon-T and Romsar.
