MOSCOW, March 7, Asia-Plus - Tajik athletes currently living and being trained in Moscow have participated in a boxing competition for Eurasia Cup at the Olimpiisky Sport Palace in Moscow.
Tajik coach Ikrom Boboyev said that athlete from Tajikistan Khayom Akramov had finished first in –75 kg category.
According to Boboyev, Khayom Akramov represented Russian Sports Club DMPF Sport in the competition. “Tajik athletes being trained in Moscow try to participate in competitions more frequently in order to raise their professionalism,” Boboyev said, adding that he currently coaches three Tajik boxers.
They are from the Tajik northern city of Panjakent and their coach considers that they are very promising athletes.
