DUSHANBE, June 7, Asia-Plus -- Tajik female archers have sealed berth in the 44th World Target Championships that will be conducted in Leipzig, Germany from July 5-15.
Nargis Nabiyeva, chairwoman of Tajikistan Archery Federation, told Asia-Plus that Tajik female archers Albina Kamoliddinova and Fotima Taghoyeva had successfully participated in the third round of the World Archery Cup in Antalia, Turkey, winning 1,258 and 1,214 scores respectively. “They will represent Tajikistan in the Leipzig championships, which will also be the qualifying tournament for slots into the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing,” she said.
