DUSHANBE, August 5, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Tajik wrestlers won two bronze medals at the Asian Cadet Greek-Roman Wrestling Championships, held from July 29 to August 2 in Pune, India, according to the Committee for Youth, Sports and Tourism Affairs.
Manouchehr Alayev finished third in the 76-kilgoram category and Abbos Ikromov won bronze in the 81-kilogram category.
Besides, two other Tajik wrestlers – Oyatullo Muhtojev (-58 kg) and Akmal Shohrajabov (-69 kg) – finished fifth in their weight categories.
Representatives from 20 countries participated at the Asian Cadet Greek-Roman Wrestling Championships in Pune, the source said.
