Hakim Rahimov, a programmer with the information technologies department of Tajik central bank, has told Asia-Plus that the introduced system works on the basis of the up-to-date information technologies on collection and analysis of financial data of commercial banks.
According to him, this system will allow the NBT to more effectively control activities of commercial banks and analyze received data.
“The main function of the system is provision of bank control specialists with opportune and precise financial data,” Mr. Rahimov said, adding that introduction of the new bank control system was a result of joint work of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), consulting company “BearingPoint” and the National Bank of Tajikistan.
