, April 6, Asia-Plus - The results of work of the commission charged by the government with determining status of higher educational institutions in the country will become known in near future.
Deputy Education Minister, Farhod Rahimov, has told

-Plus the results will be announced after endorsement by the ministry’s board of the prepared report. The ministry’s board meeting will be held next week, according to him.
“But already today one may say that considerable changes will take place in structures of many higher educational institutions,” said Rahimov, “Many of universities will be named institutes or academies, and number of specialties and faculties within them will reduce.”
Besides, a number of higher educational institutions in the country will be closed at all, the deputy minister said.
