DUSHANBE , April 10, Asia-Plus - A delegation of Kazakh businessmen led by Kambar Shalgimbayev, head of Kazakhstan ’s Development Bank, arrived in Tajikistan on April 9 for a three-day working visit.  

According to information from the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT), the purpose of the visit is for the Kazakh businessmen to discuss with Tajik officials issues related to implementation of multilateral agreement on inter-bank cooperation signed within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). 

During their stay in Tajikistan Kazakh businessmen are scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov, the NBT head Murodali Alimardonov, the “Oryonbonk” head Hasan Sadulloyev, as well as senior representatives from the Industries Ministry.  

According to the source, the talks will focus on investment in economic projects in Tajikistan .  

The Kazakh delegation is also supposed to visit the northern province of Sughd and to meet with Sughd governor Qosim Qosimov to discuss issues of investing in the region’s economy.
