“At present, some cellular operators complain that if the unified communications center becomes a reality, the Ministry of Communications would allegedly obtain a virtual monopoly over telecommunications and Internet service,” said the minister, “Some companies are providing international communication, having no special license for this; it means that they are engaged in contraband.”
According to him, these companies do not have report on the communication traffic, both from the republic and back.
“Incoming traffic should be not lower than US$0.20, while these companies have brought it down to US$0.02 that causes serious damage to the state,” said Zuvaydov, “Users, first of all, suffer from this because the communication quality is very poor.”
At the same time, the minister noted that the Ministry of Communications did not oppose creation of two or even more communications centers. “What is the most important, they should together control the communication traffic,” Said Zuvaydov said.
