Russian interior ministry arriving in Tajikistan today

’s Minister of Interiors, Rashid Nurgaliyev, is arriving in
Dushanbe
today afternoon to attend a two-day session of the council of the CIS interior ministers, which will open in the Tajik capital on April 21.
According to information from the Russian Embassy in
Dushanbe
, during his stay in
Tajikistan
the Russian minister will meet with President Emomali Rahmonov. The two are expected to discuss issues of cooperation in addressing modern challenges and threats.

intend to consider a number of issues, including prospects of further cooperation between the CIS law enforcement agencies in fighting terrorism, extremism and trafficking in drugs and weapons.
The session is also aiming to consider a new instruction of searching criminals and the possibility of creation of information database.
