DUSHANBE , May 8, Asia-Plus - A new textile enterprise is supposed to be constructed in Tajikistan in near future, presidential press service reported.  

According to the source, Tajik company “Olimi Karimzod” and Kazakhstan ’s “Ateks Systems” reached an appropriate agreement on this subject at a business forum in Kazakh capital of Astana on May 5.   

Kazakhstan ’s company is supposed to invest some US$25 million in the construction of this enterprise, which will have a capacity of processing 6,000 tons of cotton a year.  

Under the signed agreement the two companies will set to launch of the joint venture within a month.
