DUSHANBE, May 10, Asia-Plus -- A cache containing large amount of ammunition and drugs have been discovered in the Shahritus district, Khatlon province, according to information from Tajik border service.
The Tajik border service’s press service reports that border troops on a routine patrol discovered the cache in the Tugul area in the district on May 9.
One sub-machine “Kalashnikov”, 47 projectiles of grenade launcher, three hand grenades RGD-5, 60 bullets of different caliber as well as 4 kilograms of heroin, more than 14 kilograms of cannabis and 4 kilograms of chars had been extracted from the hide, according to the source.
Investigation is under way.
