DUSHANBE, June 24, Asia-Plus -- A five-day workshop formally titled “Control and Integrity” will open at the Tajik resort “Khoja-Obigarm” on July 1.
According to information from the UNDP Dushanbe Office, the workshop will focus on transparency of a public management system in Tajikistan. The source says the UNDP-staged seminar is also aiming to consider issues related to planning and distribution of the national budget, fight against corruption, etc.
The seminar participants include 13 members of various profile committees of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament), representatives from the Prosecutor-General’s Office, Ministry of State Revenues and Tax Collections, as well as other ministries and organizations, and international organizations.
