DUSHANBE, June 28, Asia-Plus -- A meeting of the council of justice ministers from member nations of the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) will be held in the Belarus capital city of Minsk on June 30.
According to information from the Tajik Ministry of Justice, the meeting is aiming to consider issues related to extending legal foundation of cooperation between the EAEC member countries.
Justice Minister Khalifabobo Homidov will represent Tajikistan at the meeting in Minsk.
The source says the council of the EAEC justice ministers plans to sign an agreement on cooperation in the filed of execution of criminal penalties and an agreement on cooperation in the field of the forensic examination activity within the Community.
The EAEC is a regional economic club grouping Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine have an observer status.
