DUSHANBE, July 14, Asia-Plus -- On Thursday July 13, Tajik Drug Control Agency (DCA) chief met with Mr. Azizahmad Voris, Consul, Afghan Embassy in Dushanbe, to discuss cooperation in fighting drug trafficking.
According to information from the DCA press service, in the course of the talks the two pointed to the necessity of expanding cooperation between Tajikistan and Afghanistan in exchange of information about drug trafficking.
The source says Nazarov and Voris also discussed issues related to drug-related crimes committed by the Afghan on the territory Tajikistan and detention of citizens of the neighboring country at the border for drug trafficking.
