DUSHANBE, September 12, Asia-Plus - School programs on mathematics and physics have been introduced into a curriculum of Tajikistan’s Transport Institute.
The Institute Rector Olimjon Boboyev has told Asia-Plus that examinations passed by students in the summer show that the majority of students at the institute have very poor knowledge of technical subjects and even the school program of mathematics.
“We have decided to introduce the course on the school program of mathematics and sketching for our students to enhance the situation and raise their knowledge, though it is not a task of higher educational institutions,” Mr. Boboyev said.
This year, 430 students have entered Tajikistan’s Transport Institute, which is 120 people more compared to last year, according to the institute rector.
