DUSHANBE, July 25, Asia-Plus — On Tuesday July 24, Tajik cellular operator Babilon-Mobile, which accounts for more than 41 percent of mobile telecommunications services in Tajikistan, greeted its 500,000th client.
The company donated a car VAZ-21015 and cell phone to its 500,000th client, who proved to be resident of the Bokhtar district in Khatlon Furqat Qosimov.
The company greeted its 300,000th client in September 2006, and the 400,000th client of Babilon-Mobile was registered in February this year.
Closed joint-stock company (CJSC) Babilon-Mobile has worked on the country’s telecommunications market since January 1, 2003. the company is licensed to provide cellular communication services in Tajikistan in the GSM-900/1800 and 3G-UMTS standards.
