DUSHANBE, August 6, Asia-Plus -- The Tajik Embassy in Moscow has hosted the first meeting of a group for support and help to fellow-countrymen.
The group consists of representatives from the embassy and local offices of Tajik ministries and organizations in Russia.
Muhammad Egamzod, a spokesman for the Tajik embassy in Moscow, told Asia-Plus that the meeting had discussed issues related to duty points in the Domodedovo airport and the Kazansky railway station in Moscow as well as operational response to various incidents involving Tajik nationals.
According to Egamzod, the meeting determined the points of duty for a mobile group. “Three points of duty will be located in the Domodedovo airport: at the entrance to the airport building; at the customs terminal; and at the office of Tajik national air carrier TajikAir (fifth flour of the Domodedovo building),” Egamzod said, adding that at the Kazansky railway station, the point will be located in the VIP-hall.
All these measures are aimed at ensuring protection of legal rights and interests of Tajik nationals staying in the Russian Federation, according to him.
We will recall that the mobile group for providing support and assistance to Tajik citizens has been set p in Moscow on an initiative of Tajik Ambassador to Russia Abdulmajid Dostiyev and its members include representatives from the embassy and offices of Tajik state bodies in the Russian Federation.
The mobile group members will be on duty at the Domodedovo airport and Kazansky railway station in Moscow during arrival or departure of Tajik planes and trains as well as operationally respond to incidents involving Tajik citizens. In case of necessity, Tajik embassy, trade representation, as well as offices of TajikAir (national air carrier), interior ministry’s emigration service, Tajik Railways, Barqi Tojik power holding, and tax committee in Russia will provide the mobile group with transport and other means. The embassy’s consular department and office of interior ministry’s migration service in Moscow coordinate activities of the mobile group, the spokesman said.
