DUSHANBE, October 5, Asia-Plus -- On Thursday October 4, Energy and Industry Minister Gul Sherali met with visiting Ukrainian Foreign Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk to discuss cooperation issues.
The meeting was held on sidelines of the session of the council of the CIS foreign ministers in the Tajik capital.
The source at the Ministry of Energy and Industry (MoEI) said that the two discussed ways to expand bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Ukraine in jointly implementing energy projects and developing natural resources in Tajikistan.
During the meeting, Yatsenyuk confirmed his country’s interest in visit of Tajik president to Ukraine and impending holding of a session of the bilateral economic commission.
