DUSHANBE, January 25, Asia-Plus -- President Emomali Rahmon has introduced a number of staff changes at today’s government meting reviewing Tajikistan’s economic results in 2007.
According to a source at president’s office, the president has appointed Murodali Alimardon, formerly head of the National bank of Tajikistan (NBT), Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Matters.
Besides, Abdurahmon Qodiri was relieved of his post of Minister for Agriculture and Environmental Protection and was recommended to be appointed the first deputy chairman of the Khatlon province.
Davlatsho Gulmahmadov was removed from his position as director of the Agency for Land Management, Geodesy and Cartography and was recommended to the position of the first deputy chairman of the Sughd province.
