DUSHANBE, February 28, Asia-Plus -- Turkey’s International Cooperation Agency (TICA) yesterday handed over new office equipment and furniture to Tajikistan’s national news agency Khovar.
The Khovar director Sadriddin Shamsiddinov told Asia-Plus that they had received 16 computer desks, 16 computers, and eight scanners, printers and faxes.
Speaking at a handover ceremony, Javit Kofeoglu, the head of the TICA office in Dushanbe, noted that their organization is ready to continue providing technical assistance to Khovar. He noted that short-term courses on studying the Turkish language would be organized for Khovar’s reporters.
