DUSHANBE, Febraury 29, Asia-Plus  -- Three books by Tajik journalist Sulton Hamad were brought out in Dushanbe recently.  

The first book entitled “Interview with Brilliant Person” published under support of the Tajik Branch of Open Society Institute/Assistance Foundation (OSI/AF) contains interviews of Sulton Hamad with known Tajik and foreign politicians, public figures, writers and journalists published in different print media in Tajikistan in 2002-2006.  The book, which has a circulation of a 700, was printed at the Dushanbe publishing house Devashtich.  

The second book entitled “Connection between Ahmad Zohir and Mawlawi” is about known Afghan singer Ahmad Zohir and influence of great Tajik-Persian poet, Islamic jurist and theologian Mawlana Jala ad-Din Rumi (1207-1273) on his creative work.  The book was printed at the publishing house with a circulation of a 500.  

The third book entitled “Conflicts, Terrorism and Journalists’ Duty” was published by the Republican Press Center with a circulation of 200.  The book is part of SDC-supported project of Tajik MFA and UNDP CO Tajikistan.  The book contains articles published by Hamad in Tajik newspapers Najot , Tojikiston , Zindagi and Nigoh in 2000-2007.
