DUSHANBE, March 22, Asia-Plus -- Issues related to combating violations of intellectual property rights will be one of major topics of a session of the CIS working commission for preventing violations of intellectual property rights that will be held in Minsk, Belarus from March 25-26, CIS Executive Committee’s website said.
Among issues to be discussed at the session are two draft documents on protection of author’s rights – a draft agreement on cooperation among CIS states on exchange of information and formation of national databases of author’s rights and a draft agreement on the legal regime of designations used before the establishment of the CIS.
After being concerted the documents will be submitted for consideration to the CIS council of heads of government.
