DUSHANBE, April 18, Asia-Plus -- Another two customs checkpoints are scheduled to open in Gorno Badakhshan this year.
Speaking to reporters in Dushanbe on April 17, the Tajik Customs Service chief Gurez Zaripov said the customs checkpoints “Khumroghi” (Vanj district) and “Langar” (Ishkashim district) will have opened in Gorno Badakhshan this year.
Four customs checkpoints currently operate in Gorno Badakhshan: Qizil-Art and Kulma in the Murgab district; Tem in Khorog; and Ruzvai in the Darvoz district.
In all, there are 34 customs checkpoints along Tajikistan’s national border.
