DUSHANBE, April 22, Asia-Plus -- Officers from the Khatlon security directorate have seized a large amount of drugs in the village of Yol, Khatlon’s Shuroobod district.
The public relations center of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) said that some 39 kilograms of heroin and 12 kilograms of cannabis were found in the house of the Yol resident Iso Odinayev yesterday.
Criminal proceedings have bee instituted on the drug-trafficking charges and an investigation is under way.
