KHUJAND, April 25, Asia-Plus -- Speaking to reporters on April 23, the Sughd police directorate chief Abdurahim Qahhorov said that 99 firearm have been confiscated from the Sughd population over the first quarter of this year.
According to him, the totaled included 91 smooth-bore guns, seven rifles and 227 bullets of different caliber.
Qahhorov noted that they will consider proposals of residents of the remote mountain areas on granting them permit to have hunting guns for repulsing wolves’ attacks on people and cattle
