DUSHANBE, May 8, Asia-Plus -- The Ministry of Health (MoH) today handed extraordinary grants and sanatorium vouchers to five war veterans, who had worked with the country’s health sector.
Mr. Mikhail Marchneko, former associated professor with Tajik Medical University, Mr. Abdullo Ghoibov, consultant of the forensic medicine sub-department within Medical University, Mr. Karim Ahmadov, consultant of the physiology sub-department within Medical University, Mr. Abdumajid Poulodov, consultant of the neurology sub-department within Medical University, and Ms. Nina Petushkova, former researcher with the Institute for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Pediatrics, have received sanatorium vouchers and extraordinary grant of 350 somonis each.
We will recall that 4,137 veterans and invalids of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 currently live in Tajikistan.
