KULOB, June 2, Asia-Plus -- The Kulob-based limited liability company Orien-Rustam (former Kulob meat processing and packing plant) has completed installation of equipment for producing soft drinks with capacity of 24 bottles per minute, Asia-Plus has learned from Tavarali Sharifov, a chief accountant with Orien-Rustam.
According to him, spring water for production of soft drinks is delivered from the Vose district.
“The equipment has been purchased in China for $30,000 loan taken from Agroinvestbonk,” Sharifov said, noting that plastic bottles are produced by the company itself.
He noted that 15 persons currently work with the workshop and the first bulk of soft drinks had already been sent to the Shuroobod district.
The company has also purchased equipment for production of vegetable oil in Pakistan and production of cooking (cotton) oil will start in September, the chief accountant said.
