DUSHANBE, June 30, 2008, Asia-Plus – The semi-precious stone processing enterprise, Lal, in GBAO’s Shugnan district has increased its production volume.
The Lal engineer Mamadnazir Khoushqadamov told Pamir Media that over the first five months of this year, Lal has produced goods 132 percent more than in the same period of last year.
The enterprise produces various souvenirs such beats, chessmen and so forth from semi-precious stones. Lal now also fulfills orders by private individuals and organizations for stone carving goods.
