DUSHANBE, August 29, 2008, Asia-Plus -- The Islamic Revival Party of Tajikistan (IRPT) has adopted a document, entitled “Mission and Values of IRPT for the Period of 2008-2015.”
According to Hikmatullo Sayfullozoda, a spokesman for the IRPT, the document was adopted at a session of the IRPT board that was held in Dushanbe on August 27.
He noted that the mission of the Islamic Revival Party for the report period is to promote development of the country’s economy, independent and stable society, supremacy of law, social justice, and development of democracy. “These are the main tasks of the party that should be saturated with spirit of national-religious and universal values,” the spokesman said.
These values include, firs of all, self-consciousness, piety, responsibility and supremacy of law, as well as democracy and justice, wellbeing and generosity.
Sayfullozoda also noted that to implement this strategy the party had made structural changes, setting up analytical, agitating, organizational, and economic departments as well as the personnel office.
“These structural changes are the beginning of the new stage of development of the Islamic Revival Party,” the spokesman said, noting that the main provisions of the document will be actively used during important political events in the country.
