DUSHANBE, September 13, 2008, Asia-Plus -- An organizational meeting of the Conference of Heads of the CIS Working Structures for Cooperation on Crime Prevention was held in Moscow on September 12.
According to press service of the CIS Executive Committee, the meeting considered the draft regulations on the Conference and the draft Plan of its work for 2008-2009.
The Plan has been worked in line with the provisions of Concept for further development of the CIS and the Plan of main events on implementation of the Concept, the Interstate Program of joint crime-prevention measures for 2008-2010, as well as the Resolution of the Coordination Conference of Heads of the CIS Power-Wielding Agencies of April 26, 2007.
Members of the Conference that will function on a permanent basis will include heads of working structures of the coordination council of chief prosecutors, the council of chiefs of security and special services, the council of the border troops commanders, the coordination council of heads of financial control bodies, and the council of customs service chiefs.
