DUSHANBE, September 23, 2009, Asia-Plus -- A roundtable meeting to discuss issues related to efficient management of financial resources in the higher education system under conditions of the financial crisis is being held in Dushanbe today.
The meeting is organized by the Ministry of Education (MoE) in cooperation with the Tajik Branch of Open Society Institute/Assistance Foundation (OSI/AF-Tajikistan) and its participants include representatives from president’s office, the ministry of education and OSI/AF-Tajikistan. The source at a MoE said Mr. Homidullokhon Faqerov, the head of education and science department within President’s Executive Office, Mr. Voldemar Tomusk, the director of International Higher Education Support Program (OSI, London), and Ms. Tatiana Abdushukurova, the director of Education Program, OSI.AF-Tajikistan, are also attending the meeting.
