DUSHANBE, February 26, 2010, Asia-Plus -- On Wednesday February 24, Sharif Said, head of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), met with Mirzo Ghulomov, deputy general manager of the Mountain Societies Development Support Programme (MSDSP), and Ilhom Mahkamboyev, the MSDSP program manager, according to the CCI press service.
The sides discussed issues related to further cooperation within the framework of the project, Enabling Business Intermediary Organizations to Support Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Tajikistan. They expressed satisfaction with the results of cooperation in 2009 and discussed some priorities for 2010.
The sides also agreed to hold the Central Asian forum, Regional Cooperation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry: Problems and Solutions, in May this year.
Representatives from CCIs of Central Asia’s countries, China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and Afghanistan have been invited to attend the forum.
The sides also decided to organize mutual trips of CCIs representatives for the purpose of exchanging experience, the source said.
