KHUJAND, September 2, 2010, Asia-Plus -- By the Sughd administration’s decision Mirzoazam Maqsoudov has been appointed editor-chief of the Sughd official Russian-language newspaper Sogdiyskaya Pravda , replacing Vladimir Tarasov, who was retried for age reasons.
Maqsoudov had previously worked as reporter for Sogdiyskaya Pravda .
Sogdiyskaya Pravda is published twice a week with a circulation of 1,900 copies. Six editors of the newspaper have been replaced since late 1990s.
