DUSHANBE, July 7, 2011, Asia-Plus  -- The first meeting of the Commission for Development of the Tax Code of Tajikistan took place in Dushanbe on July 6.

The source at the Ministry of Finance (MoF) says the meeting considered a draft plan of actions on working out a new tax code as well as a number of organizing issues.

Minister of Finance Safarali Najmiddinov is chairman of the commission.  He acquainted members of the commission with their duties and underlined the significance of development of the new tax code.  Najmiddinov called on the commission members to implement all the planned events properly and opportunely, using e-mails and websites of the ministries and agencies for an efficient implementation of their tasks, the source said.
