DUSHANBE, July 12 2011, Asia-Plus -- More than 50 companies from China’s Xinjiang-Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR) as well as Chinese companies operating in Tajikistan will participate in an international export products exhibition that will open in Dushanbe on July 13, the press center of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) reports.
Organized on an initiative of CCI under support of the Government of Tajikistan, China’s Ministry of Commerce, XUAR Department of Commerce and administrations of Urumqi and Kashgar, the exhibition runs through July 15 and the companies will put on display their achievements in light industry, industrial engineering as well as production of building materials and home appliance at the fair in Dushanbe.
According to him, the exhibition aims to promote attraction of investments for Tajikistan’s economy and help Tajik entrepreneurs seek partners.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, a conference of representatives of business communities of Tajikistan and XUAR will take place on July 14.
