Today deputies of the Majlisi namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan of the fourth convocation have unanimously approved amendments to the country’s Tax Code and the Law “On the police”.
From now on information about foreign businessmen who operate in Tajikistan will be protected by the state.
When presenting the amendments first deputy head of the Tajik Government’s Tax Service Nemat Rahmatov said that this type of information can be provided only to courts and law enforcement structures upon written request.
Additionally, Rahmatov said that from now on Tax service is empowered to demand additional certificates from foreign businessmen who import customs goods to Tajikistan.
Furthermore, from now on Tajik Interior Minister is empowered to hand awards and medals to citizens of the republic who served in the police more than 25 years and extend the terms of their vacations and provide them with sanatorium vouchers.
