DUSHANBE, September 27, 2012, Asia-Plus -- On Wednesday September 26, a meeting of representatives of business communities of Tajikistan and Iran took place in Dushanbe, Tajik Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI)’s press center reports.
Priorities of economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran was a major topic of the meeting. The meeting participants, in particular, considered issues related to new joint projects and Iranian entrepreneurs reportedly expressed readiness to offer their technologies and achievements in textile and food industries to their Tajik partners.
Speaking at the meeting, Tajik CCI head Sharif Said noted that Iran was reliable trading partner of Tajikistan.
According to him, establishment of joint ventures, introduction of advance technologies and organization of exhibitions and fairs could promote further expansion of bilateral trade between the two countries.
Tajik CCI head offered Iranian entrepreneurs to hold a joint meeting by the next Navrouz holiday (March 21, 2013) to review the results of the September 26 business forum.
