Kazakhstan tops Central Asia’s nations in terms of an average monthly net salary rate (after tax deduction).

Numbeo.com website ranks Kazakhstan with an average monthly net salary amounting to 423.00 U.S. dollars 77th among 106 countries.   

In Uzbekistan, the average monthly net salary (after tax deduction) reportedly amounts to 278.00 U.S. dollars

Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan are not included in the ranking.

Switzerland is in the first place globally in terms of average monthly net salary rate – 5,988 U.S. dollars.  It is followed by Singapore – 4,247 U.S. dollars, and Australia – 4,143 U.S. dollars.   

Nigeria (US$164.00), Pakistan () US$152.00) and Sri Lanka (US$144.00) are at the bottom of the list.

It is to be noted that figures provided by the Numbeo.com website are slightly different from the figures provided by Kazakhstan’s Bureau of National Statistics and Uzbekistan’s  State Committee for Statistics.

Thus, according to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan, the average monthly nominal wage in the country is 312,011 tenge (equivalent to 663.00 U.S. dollars).

Uzbekistan’s State Committee for Statistics says current average monthly nominal wage in the country is 3.54 million soums (equivalent to 324.00 U.S. dollars) 

Meanwhile, according to official statistics, the average monthly wage in Tajikistan in June amounted to 1,907 somonis (equivalent to 185.00 U.S. dollars).
