USA is the main donor Tajikistan in January-July of this year received humanitarian assistance in the amount of about $ 83 million from 56 countries of the world, the statistical office reports with reference to the Customs Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The main donors in terms of the cost of aid were the United States (39.6% of the total cost) and China (28.7%). Japan (4.9%), India (6%), Sweden (2.7%), Russia (3.7%), Uzbekistan (1.9%)
The value of humanitarian aid received in seven months of this year exceeds the same period in 2021 by $33 million, and the number of donors increased by 4 countries.
In January - July 2021, the republic received humanitarian aid in the amount of about $50 million from 52 countries of the world. Among the donor countries then the largest share was China (27.9%), Russia (12%), India (8.6%), Kazakhstan (6.3%), USA (6%), Turkey (5. 9%), Uzbekistan (5.6%), Japan (5.8%).
